Kristine McDivitt Tompkins
Kristine McDivitt Tompkins, the former CEO of Patagonia and a self-described wild child, is one of the most prolific biodiversity philanthropists in history. She’s a tenacious peace broker between people and wild nature. Through Tompkins Conservation, founded with her late husband, Doug Tompkins, she’s helped protect nearly 15 million acres across Chile and Argentina. I caught up with her from her home in remote California about living fearlessly and rewilding our hearts.
